Watercolour of Barnard Castle

I often take a sketch pad with me when we are on our travels. I rarely do anything with the sketches but just enjoy the moment.

Here is a watercolour I did at Barnard Castle from the River Bridge. Despite there being ample room on the footbridge over the river for me to stand and anyone to drive a tank across there were some people who insisted on walking in front of me! A bit of a pain when I am juggling pad paints and brushes..
