When I was in Ireland at the weekend we passed New Ross and I saw an old friend I had previously painted. The replica famine ship Dunbrody is alongside the wharf there. I had painted her under sail in moonlight about 10 years ago. The painting is sold. Anyway it was nice to see her albeit we were only passing through.
