Pontantwn

The little watercolour and ink painting shown above sold today. I pass the scene quite often as it is on the way to Pontiets. The cattle are nearly always in the field under the Bridge at Pontantwn.   The view however is slightly changed from when I did the painting due to new building work.

There is a very interesting garage in Pontantwn straight out of the 1960's and would make a great subject but  I am not sure I would find a buyer so it will probably go unpainted. Alex has been framing today and we are pretty much up to date.
